Niecy Nash celebrated her birthday with boots, cowboy hats, and friends at a rodeo-themed bash. In videos shared to Instagram, the actress sings, dances, and toasts with her wife Jessica Betts, daughter Dia Nash, and more guests including NLE Choppa, Taraji P. Henson, Colman Domingo, Teyana Tayor, Vivica A. Fox, Tia Mowry, and more.
Nash wore a bright red, sequined corset-style romper with fringe sleeves, a gold belt buckle, red cowboy hat, and matching thigh-high boots. Attendees were also on-theme with boots, hats, denim, and plaid get-up. The party took place at the luxury SLS hotel venue in Beverly Hills, CA.
In the clip, the 55-year-old blows out the candles on a three-tiered cake, decorated with pink cowboy hats, disco balls, and sparklers. According to the Instagram caption, specialty cocktails were curated by Tequila Comisario and Old Hillside Bourbon.
“I celebrate for a month,” the Emmy-winner explained to PEOPLE Magazine of the March celebration recognizing her Feb. 23 birthday. “I’ve had several celebrations. And this is the end. Yeah, I’m finished after this. This is the finale.”
She continued to boast, “Everybody knows — and I’m not bragging when I say this, this is just factual — I throw the best parties,” adding, “My parties are a situation, ask about me in these streets.”
