Nike has plans to release an innovative version of one of their most popular sneakers. The company revealed the “Dirty Triple White” Air Force 1, a pair of all-white shoes that come with the appearance of already being worn and dirty. As the consumer wears the kicks, they lighten and brighten up, appearing newer and cleaner.
The shoes were revealed on social media by Brendan Dunne of Complex with a note card detailing the full release from the company’s Dot Swoosh division. Nike enthusiasts can expect the shoes to drop on the SNKRS retail platform on May 7, 2025 for $130. In addition to the white pair, the note card details “Triple Triple Black” Air Force 1, to make up the “Smoke and Mirrors” pack, per Complex.
“But you’re only scratching the surface,” teased the description card. “Here is the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Dirty Triple White.’ The more you wear it, the more beautiful it becomes. It’s that simple. It’s black-and-white. We put a toothbrush in there, too, in case you want to take things into your own hands. Do your thing. Make these AF1s your personal time machine.”
Nike’s Dot Swoosh is the brand’s home for gaming-related products. The web3-enabled platform was launched in 2022 to champion athletes and serve the future of sport by creating a new, inclusive digital community and experience, and a home for Nike virtual creations. Stylized as .SWOOSH, the site allows Nike Members to learn about, collect, and eventually help co-create typically interactive digital objects such as virtual shoes or jerseys.
As .Swoosh has grown, more physical products have launched beyond its initial virtual intentions. Earlier this year, photos of the .Swoosh Nike Air Max 1 sneaker, reportedly nicknamed “Big Head Origins,” surfaced online, according to Footwear News. The shoes, which officially dropped last month, are a version of Nike’s classic 1987 edition and are inspired by Nintendo’s “Donkey Kong” franchise.
