Veteran Yoruba actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has cleared the air on widespread speculations about a strained relationship between him and fellow Nollywood legend, Yinka Quadri.

The actor used the platform to express how much affection and loyalty he has continued to show towards his longtime friend and colleague.
During the interview, Ogogo gave an example to support his stance. He recalled a moment when he and some of their colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry were discussing the formation of a union. At the time, a conversation came up about who would be most suitable to lead the group.
Ogogo explained that he personally nominated Yinka Quadri as the best person for the leadership role. According to him, some individuals in the group opposed the decision, but he stood his ground and challenged their opposition, insisted that Yinka Quadri was the right choice for the position.
He said his actions were driven by respect, belief in Yinka Quadri’s leadership abilities, and the long-standing relationship they share.
