Our Favorite Funny People Celebrate The Iconic Show (Photos)

Many of our favorite stand-ups, comedic actors, comedy writers, sketch and improv pros, and more all linked up in New York City this weekend to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of iconic sketch show Saturday Night Live at the series’ SNL50 celebration Sunday (Feb. 16).

The “30 Rock” celebration was the place to be for celebs who couldn’t care less about NBA All-Star weekend across the country, bringing out some of the best in comedy including Abbott Elementary‘s Quinta Brunson, One Of Them Days‘ Keke Palmer, The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri, and plenty of Saturday Night Live cast members and alums, including Chris Rock — who was joined by his daughter, Zahra — Eddie Murphy, Garrett Morris, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Kenan Thompson, Ego Nwodim,  Sasheer Zamata, Finesse Mitchell, and more. Musicians like Halsey, Brittany Howard, and January 2025 VIBE cover star Questlove also pulled up, as did comedy vets ranging from Steve Martin and Martin Short to Whoopi Goldberg and Billy Crystal.

The corresponding 3.5 hour show was also a success for NBC, delivering the biggest audience for the network for a night-time entertainment show since the 2020 Golden Globes, The AP reports.
