Chidi, the bodyguard of renowned rapper and singer, Phyno has issued a sincere apology for his actions at billionaire businessman, Zenco’s mom’s burial ceremony, where he attempted to bounce the mogul/host away from the music star who was performing at the event’s stage.

The incident, which sparked widespread outrage and amusement online, was a result of Chidi’s misguided attempt to protect his boss, Phyno.

However, in a video shared on social media, Chidi poured out his heart and pleaded for forgiveness, explaining that he intended to safeguard Phyno and not disrespect Zenco.

Chidi acknowledged that he had made a grave mistake and took full responsibility for his actions. He expressed his deep respect for Zenco and reiterated that his sole intention was to protect his boss.

The bodyguard also revealed that he had faced severe backlash on social media, with many people condemning his behaviour. In the clip, Chidi appealed to Zenco to find it in his heart to forgive him, acknowledging that he had offended him.

He explained that he had not recognized Zenco as the host of the event and was only trying to do his job. However, he acknowledged that his actions were wrong and that he should have handled the situation differently.
