Priddy Ugly has finally open up on the reasons why the Ambitiouz deal did not work for him.
The star made this known during an interviews on Slikour On Life.
Priddy recently dropped his sophomore album SOIL and had the hip hop streets going wild as fans continue to appreciate the rapper’s efforts on the album.
The rapper dropped his first album Egypt under his previous record label Ambitiouz Entertainment.
On the show, he explained that the album Egypt was not very cohesive and tells Slikour that there are a lot of songs, he would have removed and that’s why he dropped the deluxe album, which starts off completely different, in terms of sequencing of song, than the original album.
“At the time, I was with Ambitious entertainment and we were trying to put together like uh, they wanted hits you know,” the rapper explained.
Slikour then explains to the rapper that at the time he desired the success that the label was offering but he realized that the plan that the label had for him was not what he desired for himself.
Slikour gave the rapper props for discovering that and being able to leave the label.
“Me even joining ambitiouz entertainment because at the time they were at the time offering me things that I felt like I lacked and I knew I could still improve as an artist and as a brand which is what I went into and as a businessman which is what I went into there you know,” responded the rapper.
