Quinta Brunson is allegedly ending her 3 year marriage to Kevin Jay Anik and has filed for divorce.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE the two time Emmy winner submitted the petition on Wednesday (March 19) in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their split.
Brunson, who wed Anik in October 2021, disclosed in the filing that they had “entered into a postnuptial agreement which governs the disposition of their property” and requested that each party cover their own attorney’s fees.

Brunson has long kept her relationship out of the public eye, only confirming their marriage years after it happened in her 2022 Emmy acceptance speech.
“In case I am not back up here again, I have to thank my mom, dad, brothers and sisters, my cousins … my wonderful husband,” she said while accepting the award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. “He’s the most supportive man I’ve ever known.”
The following year, during thanks for her 2023 Golden Globe win, she again expressed gratitude to Anik, saying: “I didn’t prepare anything because I just didn’t think … Oh god. I love my mom, my dad, my sisters, my brothers, my entire family so much. I love my husband. I’m so happy.”
