Ray J claims an unidentified person violently vandalized his property. In video footage shared to his Instagram story, the 43-year-old highlights shattered glass on the windows of his vehicle, allegedly broken by someone else.
“I got car seats inside. For real? That’s what it’s come to?” questions the singer in the upload captured and reposted by The Jasmine Brand. “For what I’m trying to do? And you know I know. Like… I know. Okay… alright.”
The incident comes just weeks after the entertainment entrepreneur claims he was shot at in an attempt on his life.
According to The Root, last month Ray J took to Instagram Live to detail the harrowing experience last month exclaiming, “Ni**as just tried to shoot me, tried to kill me ni**a, and you want me to apologize, ni**a? F**k you,” in a self-recorded clip.
While he did not name the opposition in his rant, Ray J has recently been involved in public scuffles. In October, the “One Wish” performer and the sons of Sean “Diddy” Combs almost came to blows after longstanding tension between the parties erupted at a Halloween party.
He and Pastor Jamal Bryant also had a feud last month after Ray J threatened the pastor and his party to not release their recorded interview or else he would “snatch somebody off the pulpit.” In the interview recorded for The Jamal Bryant Podcast: Let’s Be Clear, the Love And Hip-Hop Star detailed a suicide attempt.
“I was so grateful to recently interview one of the few mavericks of this generation, @rayj who has been more than impactful in many different fields,” said Pastor Bryant after the threat. “It was both surprising and disheartening to wake up to unfounded threats and baseless accusations directed at me. As part of our commitment to honest dialogue, we ensured that specific comments with potential legal ramifications were edited out of the interview to safeguard the best interest of a brother beloved.”
Ray J has since apologized for his comments.
