Ray J Responds To Disappointing Sister Brandy After Trolling Kai Cenat

Ray J makes many people laugh with his antics, but Brandy didn’t find his recent set very funny. The 44-year-old artist shared a text change with his legendary sister, and reacted to her disappointment.

The “One Wish” singer joined a Kai Cenat stream via phone and expressed his desire to participate in one of his signature sleepovers; he specifically said that he wanted to shower with the popular streamer and his crew. Cenat had a bewildered reaction, clarifying that they wear swim trunks while bathing themselves and don’t stand near each other, which did not dissuade Ray in any way.

The Love & Hip-Hop actor posted a screenshot of his text messages on Instagram, showing Brandy sharing the clip of his conversation with Cenat and saying, “Come on Ray? What’s going on with you? You’re so much better than this!!” Her message prompted an intense, impassioned reaction.

“My sister hates who I am! And all I’m doing is being myself!” Ray J wrote. “I don’t know how to be better than who I am. I tried.” He continued the message by opening up about how it depresses him to try and be better when he is on the outs with his wife, Princess Love, and lacks stability. Nonetheless, he apologized to Brandy and his mother and said he feels alone when his family is disappointed in him.

It has been a difficult almost month for Ray J. In March, he was briefly detained by police after having a tense argument with his estranged wife, Princess Love, with whom he is headed toward divorce. The Raydiation singer had just returned home from The Millennium Tour, and a disagreement broke out between the couple. It got so bad that Love called LAPD, who put him in handcuffs and placed him in a squad car. Ultimately, they determined that no crime had been committed, and they had no reason to arrest him.
