Shannon Sharpe gives Jess Hilarious an honest apology for past comments he made regarding the comedian. The remarks were made in 2024 when Jess Hilarious’s role at The Breakfast Club was first announced.
“Ocho and I on Nightcap was talking about it. And I said some comments and it went viral,” explains the former NFL Player with the Baltimore native as a guest on Club Shay Shay. “I said ‘aye Ocho, she nice.’ So, if I offended you, I want to apologize because that was not my intent. I was just like ‘yeah, she’s a nice looking woman, she has a nice figure,” he continues before elaborating he received pushback due to their age difference.
“Like I’m not in my thirties, l’m a grown a** woman, but yeah I get it,” responds Jess Hilarious.

Sharpe adds, “The thing is, a lot of times, being uncomfortable only happens when the person that’s saying something, the other person’s not attracted to them or they feel some type of way… I didn’t, and I don’t ever want someone to feel uncomfortable with my comments, so that’s why I wanted to take the time and say I apologize for what I said.”
“It’s okay, and that mean you got some good eyes on you,” assures the radio host. “That’s just all that means, ain’t nothin’ with it.”
In his 2024 remarks, Sharpe specifies, “I know she’s a comedian… her body ain’t no laughing matter tho. I ain’t know she was like that!” He adds, “Her body!” before rapping Megan The Stallion’s “Body” hook. “She got body on body on body.”
“Don’t get me in trouble now,” requests OchoCinco as Sharpe responds, “I might get my damn self in trouble.”
“Like Kyrie [Irving] dribbling two basketballs,” jokes the 56-year-old as his co-host rushes to change the subject.
