Somizi not feeling Beyoncé’s new single
If you’re part of the beehive, then you probably won’t be happy with Somizi’s review of Mrs Carter’s new single, Break My Soul.
The song basically broke the internet when it was released on Tuesday this week as Beyoncé fans all over the world streamed it to hear what the ever-elusive icon has been up to.
The singer announced that she would be releasing her Renaissance album in July this year and then dropped the single much to the excitement of her supporters.
Taking to his Instagram, Somgaga shared his thoughts on the song, and let’s just say, he wasn’t exactly impressed.

“Then Beyoncé came and I was like no, this is not it. I wasn’t feeling it, but I gave it another chance and played it for the second time. It felt different and again what I picked up from this song was that it is really not much of a great song, because for me, a hit most of the time catches you immediately, but sometimes other hits grow on you.
He said this was uncharted territory for him and Bey.
“I was like I’ve been here with Beyoncé where she releases a song and I don’t like it, but I know where her power and strength is. Beyoncé is not the type of vocalist that would catch you based on her vocals. If Beyoncé was not a visual artist I don’t think she would be as successful as she is.”

Surprisingly, many of his fans agreed with him that the song isn’t exactly one of Beyonce’s best. One of his followers @cnelispop wrote:
“It’s not a bad song, it just didn’t meet our expectations. I’ll wait for the album.”
