Soulja Boy is ready to throw hands in Halle Bailey‘s honor.
The singer filed a restraining order for herself and son, Halo, against her ex-boyfriend/child’s father, DDG (born Darryl Granberry), on Tuesday (May 13). Bailey accused the streamer of domestic violence, claiming that he began attacking her back in January, months after their October 2024 breakup.
Following news of the police report and restraining order, Soulja Boy took to X/Twitter with a threat. “You a b***h a** n***a for putting yo hands on Halle lil n***a @PontiacMadeDDG. If I catch u im beating the f**k out u,” he tweeted.

In Bailey’s filing, she wrote, “I realize that there is no placating Darryl. I cannot allow this abuse any longer.” She claimed DDG verbally abused her often, referring to her a “b***h” or “evil” in front of Halo.
“Whenever he wishes to cause upset, he starts badmouthing me to his several millions of fans. He claims I am withholding our son and that I am with other men. As a result, I then receive threats and hate on social media. He seems to try to set up drama for his fans. He goes ‘live’ ranting about me and alleges that I am keeping Halo from him. This is false. I have requested a set schedule, which he refuses,” the 25-year-old continued.
Despite Soulja’s threat, fans believe it was the “right message, wrong messenger” considering he was found liable of abuse, sexual assault, and “intentional infliction of emotional distress” back in April. The “Crank That” rapper was ordered to pay $4 million in “compensatory damages and another $250,000 in punitive damages” to the victim, Associated Press reported.
