Summer Walker has something new coming as she expands her territory in music. The R&B singer announced Over It Radio on Monday (Dec 9.) as a new venture set to be released ahead of her anticipated Finally Over It album.
The six-episode series will feature the Atlanta-bred artist discussing various themes including relationships, motherhood, friendship, and music — both her music and music she is into right now. Over It Radio will be available for fans on Apple Music‘s global live-streaming radio station. Additionally, the program will also be available on-demand for Apple Music subscribers on Apple Music and Apple Podcasts.
Over It Radio debuts on Friday with St. Louis rapper Sexyy Red as the first guest. The ladies reminisce on past collaboration projects, and give relationship advice to a call-in fan. The remaining episodes will air weekly on Thursdays with a break for the holidays.
“My vision for Over It Radio is to create a safe space where I can own my own narrative and provide a platform for the women I admire in the entertainment industry to do the same. We discuss the topics that matter to them, without any hidden agendas,” the Grammy-nominated singer detailed to Apple Music.
“Listeners can look forward to hearing powerful, accomplished women celebrating their successes, sharing their frustrations about what they’re ready to move on from, and keeping it real about the challenges they face as women, mothers, and entrepreneurs.”
