Lyricism is something that is greatly valued by SA Hip Hop fans, especially those who have followed it from a time were there was no trap movement. Kid X was asked what he thought of the longstanding debate on lyricism Versus Sound and he responded saying that artists should be able to make what they want. “I think artists should make whatever they wish to make.
