Here’s What Zingah’s Mom Had To Say About His Music Career. Most mothers become a bit skeptical at first when their children consider talking up music as their chosen career path.
The only time parents are comfortable with the decisions is when the children make best of the career and not succumb to the stereotype of musicians who don’t turn out too well.
Zingah who is a young and fast succeeding rapper has proven to be a good example which has made his mother proud of his success in music. After his Metro FM interview his mother took to Instagram to express how she is happy about where life has taken her sons.
Zinga’s newly released track Dlala has become one of the biggest songs in SA lately with everyone raving about how great it is. In fact the way the single is well performing it has occupied the number 4 spot on the Apple Music Hot Tracks chart.
When a song makes it to the Hot Tracks list it usually means it is a popular track that is most downloaded and streamed on the platform. The privilege of occupying the list of Hot Tracks is how the songs get more exposure which result in more revenue for artists.
Taking to social media to share the great news Zingah couldn’t be more prouder of himself for his song reaching such success in a space of few days since it’s release.
It was a big night for Alicia Keys at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
The Grammy-winning songstress was honored with the Innovator Award at L.A.’s Microsoft Theater on Thursday (Mar. 14). While accepting the award from Jamie Foxx, she reminisced about her journey, starting out as a “tomboy from Hell’s Kitchen” and learning to love herself.
“I’m finally more myself than I’ve ever been,” said Alicia. “And even though it’s a constant process, I encourage you to continue to find the power and the beauty and the unique story in your own journey.”
She also shouted out some of today’s new artists for inspiring her, including Post Malone, SZA, Tierra Whack, and Billie Eilish. “I want to thank all the artists out here who continue to break the mold, who continue to inspire me,” said Alicia before thanking her husband Swizz Beatz and their sons. “You inspire me to innovate and create and stay strong and positive, and I love y’all.”
Keys, who will release her memoir More Myself in November, also took the stage to perform her new single “Raise a Man” with a special appearance from her son Egypt, who stole the show. After announcing him as “the man that I get to raise,” the talented 8-year-old played piano alongside his mother before showing out with the floss dance.
The Mommy & Me moment I’ve been dreaming of! WOW! Egy I’m in awe of you! You’re so BRAVE and BEAUTIFUL and make me so PROUD! ❤️ The feeling I felt with you next to me during this song? FULL BODY CHILLS. Your journey is just beginning and I’m so blessed to #raiseaman like you 💥 pic.twitter.com/ttKGwTIRFZ
Taking to social media after the performance, Alicia was beaming with pride. “The Mommy & Me moment I’ve been dreaming of! WOW! Egy I’m in awe of you!” said Alicia. “You’re so BRAVE and BEAUTIFUL and make me so PROUD! The feeling I felt with you next to me during this song? FULL BODY CHILLS. Your journey is just beginning and I’m so blessed to #raiseaman like you.”
Egypt’s résumé is already impressive. At the age of 5, he produced “Untitled 07 – 2014 – 2016” for Kendrick Lamar.
Meanwhile, Alicia’s youngest son Genesis was also stealing hearts. While seated in his father’s lap, he waved to Taylor Swift, who couldn’t help but blush.
“Actually my son Genesis I think is maybe tryna take Taylor out later tonight,” joked Alicia during her acceptance speech. “He’s working on it. I’m not sure how it’s gon’ go, but it looks pretty good right now.”

It has been two weeks since Sjava dropped the visuals of his single Umama and already it has made it to over 1 milliion views on YouTube. The single is featured on his 2018 album Umqhele which consist of other 11 songs that fans can’t seem to get enough of.
The music video wasn’t like anything one can expect from a Hip Hop track, it was as heartwarming as the lyrics. It saw the rapper celebrating his mom in what looks like a traditional ceremony with other members of the family experiencing the son granting gratitude to his mother for being the reason he is the kind of a man he is today.
As wonderful as the news of his milestone his, over a week ago he said that at times making music can have the worst effect on his health.
“First of all it’s unhealthy because of your sleeping patterns. My body is sore and I don’t know what’s going on. Yesterday I slept at 4am because I was recording in studio,” he explained before he spoke about how emotionally draining fame was.
