Black Moon Returns With A Music Video After 16 Years, Announces Upcoming Album

The Brookly hip-hop group makes their grand return with a music video for their single “Creep Wit Me.”

Nearly 16 years after releasing their last LP, the Brooklyn hip-hop group has returned to deliver the video for their track “Creep Wit Me.” The song serves as the lead single off their forthcoming reunion album Rise of da Moon. The project was produced by Da Beatminerz and will include contributions from Method Man, Smif N Wessun, and Rockness Monsta.

“If you only knew how good it feels to be doing this for the love. Much respect to hip-hop for having Black Moon in the cypher. It’s been a long time” Buckshot told Complex. “It was so dope working with my crew on this album. Unlike a lot of albums today, we recorded the album together in the same studio” Evil Dee continued. “Mr. Walt & I came with our Beatminerz sound (heavy bass and drums) representing that boom bap. Buck & 5 came with the ill rhymes. Mixing the album was so dope. We wanted to bring back it back to the 90’s with our analog/digital mixing process. Rise Of Da Moon represents Black Moon’s legacy to the fullest.””It was so dope working with my crew on this album. MC Galaxy gifts Ubi Frankin N3million for helping him pay his house rent 7 years ago

Popular afro-pop singer, Innocent Udeme Udofot a.k.a Mc Galaxy who became even more popular with a controversial nude live video with actress, Etinosa on his Instagram page few months back, has gifted Ubi Franklin with N3million for helping him pay his house rent 7 years ago, days after he bought a car for his producer, Tspize.

According to the Sekem crooner, all he needed at that time was N350K but no one could help him. He further revealed that he went to Ubi Franklin, told him about his problem and Ubi Franklin helped out with N100K and also gave him some clothes.

MC Galaxy who gifted Ubi Frankin N3m for helping him pay his house rent 7 years ago, however noted in his post that he can’t pay back the favours and values the MMMG Boss had added to his life. He further disclosed that his gift was just a token of appreciation.

He wrote;

This life is funny, seven years ago I needed help to pay house the total I needed was 350k. So I asked a lot people for help, and no one could help me, so one of those days I went to Ubi Franklin house that I needed help with rent and he gave me 100k and cloths and I was able to hustle money to add and pay my rent, because at the time 100k then meant a lot to me it was 10 million Naira to me, so every time I had a new song to drop I will go to him and play for him “ I go Calabar” to “Sekem” etc. So I know I cannot pay him back for the favors and values but this is a token of appreciation to say thank you for everything @ubifranklintriplemg
