LaQuan Smith is one of the most innovative and provocative designers of his generation, so it only makes sense that he made his presence known during this week’s Met Gala, as the theme for this year is ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.’
Ahead of today’s (May 5) activities, the fashion professional let his preverbal hair down for a soiree celebrating the occasion, as the designer welcomed his celebrity pals and fellow style mavens to NYC’s Cafe Zaffri in Union Square May 4, one day before the biggest night in fashion goes down further uptown.
