Blogger Tasha K is now accusing Cardi B of ruining her career and finances after having to file for bankruptcy.
Per TMZ, Tasha claimed the “Bodak Yellow” emcee was bullying her financially and “interfering” with her bankruptcy case while exposing Tasha’s alleged secret “offshore trust accounts in the Cook Islands, Nevis, and Georgia.”
The gossip blogger was ordered to pay Cardi $3.4 million from her 2022 defamation case and feels the rapper “wants to sabotage her career by trying to condition any settlement of the debt with a broad restriction on her ability to talk freely on her blogs and other social media.”
Daily Mail reported Cardi’s legal team filed a motion in Florida Bankruptcy Court last month accusing Tasha of “fraudulently transferred assets and income out of her name, and into her husband Cheickna Kebe’s name and/or his business.” The Grammy winner accused Tasha of living a “life in luxury” after she recently moved into an apartment that costs $7,000 a month while shielding money from creditors.
So, Cardi is now requesting a judge to toss out Tasha’s bankruptcy case and stop her from refilling for the next two years. The comedian previously told Bankruptcy Court that she had less than $60,000 in assets and only $95 in her bank account.
Soulja Boy, Kevin Hart, R. Kelly, and Bishop Lamor Whitehead are among those who have sued Tasha K for defamation. The lawsuit filed by Whitehead was for $360 million, but a judge ruled in favor of the blogger. They noted that Tasha’s statements weren’t “defaming” and some of her remarks were “probably true.” Meanwhile, Whitehead was recently sentenced to nine years in prison for extortion and wire fraud.
