A woman accusing Top Dawg Entertainment of sexual misconduct has responded to label heads calling her suit a “shakedown.”

On Sunday (Feb. 2), Linda Luna, one of the women involved in the suit, uploaded a couple of posts speaking out against the label’s accusations that she and Ayah Altayri “never worked with TDE.”

DJ Akademiks shared screenshots of her posts, which show her working with Brandon Tiffith and Anthony Moosa Tiffith, sons of label founder Top Dawg, on multiple occasions. “Management memories with Alemeda, but I’m lying??” she typed with a photo of her alongside TDE’s newest signee. “But I never worked with TDE??? Hmm, and my legal team nor I have ever asked for $48 million neither nor any other dollar amount. This is why it’s hard for women to come forward, but we will let this play in court with the evidence.

“It’s unfortunate women in this male-dominated industry are conditioned to think this type of manipulation & abuse is normal, and we accept.. not anymore…This is my truth and I am finally standing up for myself. This doesn’t have anything to do with any artist’s beef […] In no way, form or shape is this a plot or agenda to bring anyone down.. this is my life.”

The suit was initially filed on Friday (Jan. 31), where the ladies accused the Tiffith brothers and other TDE employees of “subjecting the women to sexual harassment and assault” and unwanted sexual advances.

TDE’s attorney, Marty Singer, responded to the suit and slammed the ladies for trying to extort their clients. “This is a clear example of a shakedown lawsuit by Linda Luna and Ayah Altayri who made a demand of $48 million through their attorneys on fabricated claims, and whose attorneys are looking for their 10 minutes of fame,” Singer expressed.

“There are text messages and communications that totally refute these baseless claims. Additionally, Ms. Luna and Ms. Altayri were never employees of Top Dawg Entertainment. We are confident that we will prevail in this action.”
