  • He shared a photo from a music video set on his X page, expressing his readiness to return.
  • TG Omori underwent surgery in August 2024 at St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos, with his brother as the donor, but the procedure was unsuccessful.
  • While recovering in the hospital, he had promised fans that he would return to work in 2025.

Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, popularly known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has returned to work following a failed kidney transplant.

Taking to his X page on Tuesday, TG Omori shared a photo of himself back on a music video set, holding his camera.

Alongside the image, he wrote, “Ok, let’s see if I can still rock this bitch.”

It will be recalled that in August 2024, Omori underwent a kidney transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, with his only brother as the donor.

Unfortunately, the procedure was unsuccessful. Despite the setback, he had assured fans from his hospital bed that he would make a comeback in 2025.
