Arewa TikTok influencer Babiana, popularly known as “Queen of Updates,” has gone viral again, this time as the subject of her own scandal, after a leaked nude video allegedly showing her surfaced online.
In the wake of the leak, she has made a public appeal to prominent figures including activist Verydarkman, blogger Tunde Ednut, and President Bola Tinubu.
The controversial TikToker, known for exposing other people’s secrets and private affairs on social media, posted a tearful video online begging for help and claiming she had been battling depression for months.
“I’ve been depressed for almost a year. I can’t hold it anymore,” Babiana cried in the video, calling on Verydarkman and others to “save her” from what she described as coordinated blackmail by members of her own Arewa community.
The clip of her emotional appeal went viral shortly after the alleged nude video began circulating across various social platforms, sparking reactions and widespread discussion among Nigerians on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.

In a quick response, Verydarkman, known for his blunt online commentary, acknowledged her plea but showed no sympathy.
In a post made under his verified handle, he said: “Babiana aka Queen of Updates, by now you suppose don cry. Please come and answer me ooo. I don’t want to add to your wahala.”
He also accused her of “false advertisement,” mocking her previous brand endorsements and referencing her alleged hypocrisy.
While many online users expressed shock over the leaked footage, others were divided in their reaction—some supporting Babiana and condemning the invasion of her privacy, while others called it karma for her past behavior of leaking others’ private content.
