PARTYNEXTDOOR quickly apologized to Tory Lanez after a misunderstanding caused him to tease a diss track, but his fellow Toronto artist isn’t here for apologies. The Chixtape singer fired back with a teased diss track of his own and left matters in the hands of his fans.

Lanez shared a snippet of the record on Instagram, where he can be heard threatening to “slap” PND in his diss track and also referencing Kendrick Lamar’s “Party at the party playing with his nose now” line from “Not Like Us.” In his caption, he wrote, “I WILL LEAVE THE FATE OF THIS @PartyNextDoor SITUATION IN THE HANDS OF THE UNTOUCHABLE UMBRELLA,” to activate his fanbase.

He asked them if he should let the P4 singer get away with his “fake a**” apology or if he should “let him catch his fade” before they shook hands and made up. His management added a note at the end of the caption saying he would call them from prison so they could let him know the fans’ decision, but Lanez has not been heard from since then.

Last week, PARTYNEXTDOOR teased a diss track aimed at Tory Lanez. “F**k what Tory Lanez say, you know the B, I’m running that/ I did everything he did, oh he’s just a running man […] You said I sound like Young Thug, you know you sound like me […] One day, you’ll be me,” he sang. While introducing the song, he emphatically said “I’m not y’all ni**as’ friend. F**k you talking ’bout, bro? Stop saying my name, ni**a.”

PND was angry after seemingly misunderstanding Tory giving him a compliment for his collaborative album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U with Drake. “PARTYNEXTDOOR showed his best work of 2025, Drake showed his best work of 2025, The Weeknd showed his best work of 2025,” Lanez said in a leaked prison phone call. “Now it’s time for me to come out.”

The “Work” writer later apologized on his Instagram, writing, “@torylanez I was told about what you said without hearing your video for myself. You didn’t say anything that I wouldn’t say myself, now that I seen it I was wrong. City is stronger together.” His apology was unsurprising, given the fact Lanez and Drake have a great relationship and presumably would not want his buddies going at it.

Nonetheless, the incarcerated artist seems ready for the smoke regardless of relationships. He has previously battled Joyner Lucas and Don Q, so this energy is not surprising either. Listen to “Don Queen,” his diss for Don Q, below.
