Tory Lanez has a clear message for Iggy Azalea in his new album. The Canadian musician mentioned the Australian artist in Peterson on various tracks, expressing regret for how their relationship ended. In the past, the pair were rumored to be dating while working together in 2022, however, neither party ever publicly confirmed. On the album, Lanez admits that he made mistakes during their time together, referencing the “Fancy” rapper by her legal name, Amethyst.

“It be nights I want to talk to Iggy, but she blocked me / Amethyst, if you ever hear this sh*t, shawty, call me / You know that I’m always makin’ spicy bi**hes salty / Need to come correct ’cause all that sh*t I did was faulty / I miss when you wrapped around my body like a tall tee,” raps the 32-year-old on the song “9$IDE x Amethyst.”

He adds, “Richest ni**a in the prison, ain’t no average / F**k a bi**h and think I should have stayed with Amethyst.” He closed the song, “Amethyst, if you still free, shawty, let me know / Let me pick up where we left off, shawty, I’ll be yours / Amethyst, if you still down, let me know / ‘Cause I got plans of fu**ing you when I get home.”

In the song “Guide Me Through the Storm,” he also sings about his and the pop musician’s relationship.

“County jail crying real tears to Iggy Azalea / I know you put up with some shit that just wasn’t familiar / I loved your ear and loved your heart though you wasn’t Amelia / They lying, trying to get me f**ked, but I wasn’t Cecilia,” detailed Tory Lanez.

Ahead of Tory Lanez’s sentencing after being found guilty in the shooting assault of Megan Thee Stallion, Iggy Azalea was one of several musicians who penned a letter to the judge on behalf of the rapper/singer’s character. In her three-page document, the 34-year-old claimed “I deeply appreciate the person he is and have never witnessed him [lose] his temper or raise his voice at a woman.”

Once the letter was made public, she clarified that she never intended to publicly comment, believing her words would only be viewed by a judge. At the time, she claimed on social media, “I have not been in touch with Tory for months, I have no reason to be but I do wish him well,” adding, “I was asked to write about my genuine experience and the kind of punishment I think he deserves.”

Iggy Azalea is not Tory Lanez’s only peer to receive kind words on Peterson. The melodic rapper also used the album to thank Chris Brown for financial support during his criminal trial.

“Where was you ni**as when I was in Cali fed up with no covers to bundle up? / Only real ni**a that helped me was Chris Brown, that really my brother, bruh,” he revealed in “T.D.F x LA County Jail (feat. DSTNY).”

Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence for assault with a semi-automatic firearm, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.
