Touchline’s EP “Before I Say More 2” Goes Gold. South African hip-hop artist Touchline continues to solidify his place in the music scene with major wins in 2025. The Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) officially certified his EP Before I Say More 2 as Gold, a significant milestone for the lyricist and storyteller whose work has resonated deeply with fans.
Released on 27 September 2024, the EP saw Touchline reflect on personal experiences while also pushing the boundaries of conscious rap in the local game. RiSA announced via social media, celebrating Touchline’s accomplishment under the banner: “RiSA Presents #Certified Gold + Platinum Albums/Singles/EP 2025.”
This latest plaque adds to what has been a career-defining season for Touchline. Just weeks earlier, he received his first-ever Gold certification for his heartfelt single “I Will Always Have” featuring Veena. The emotional track struck a chord with fans, quickly becoming a fan favourite and streaming success.
Touchline shared his disbelief and gratitude on social media, writing: “This is such a personal song, and for you guys to stream it to the point of GOLD status is wild to me. I’ll be throwing a party soon, stay tuned.”
