Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula releases 2020 festive season statistics
The Transport Department is expected to release the 2020 festive season road statistics. There was a 5.7 percent decline in road deaths and an 8 percent decline in crashes during the first part of the holiday period.
At least 700 people lost their lives on our roads from between 1 and 20 December.
