Nigerian activist and relentless advocate, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has once again captured the spotlight after bumping into embattled Nigerian rapper Naira Marley and his protégé, Zinoleesky, at a buzzing nightclub.

The unexpected meeting, shared via VDM’s official social media pages on Tuesday, December 3, has since ignited a whirlwind of reactions online, with many dissecting the implications of their interaction amid the still-burning Mohbad controversy.

In the video, shot against the backdrop of thumping club music, VDM’s camera lens first panned to Naira Marley, who appeared surprisingly elated to meet the outspoken activist. Naira, with a grin that betrayed no tension, showered VDM with praises, calling him a “very important man.”

VDM didn’t stop there. Turning his camera to Zinoleesky, he invited the young artist to speak to his fans. Zino, clearly caught in the high spirits of the night, expressed his excitement in a brief yet telling response.

Captioning the post, VDM revealed that the encounter wasn’t just about club vibes. During their conversation, he hinted at urging Naira Marley and Zinoleesky to come forward, clear their names, and speak out.

According to VDM, the music stars responded by expressing their trust in divine justice to guide their path.

Aware of the potential backlash, VDM preemptively tackled the issue head-on, cheekily declaring in the caption that “nobody can cancel me.” His defiant stance appeared to be a subtle jab at the cancel culture that many believe has already enveloped Naira Marley and Zinoleesky amid Mohbad saga.

Verydarkman captioning his video post via Instagram wrote;

“l jam the innocent rough men,l ask them to talk,them say na God hand e dey @nairamarley @zinoleesky,#mindyounobodyfitcancelme”
