Vivo is here again with yet another update for its Vivo S-series. After completing plans for the flagship segment with a bunch of smartphones, the company is now adding new premium mid-range contenders to its portfolio. The Vivo S-series got the Vivo S12 and S12 Pro earlier this year, and now the company is replacing these devices with the Vivo S15 and Vivo S15 Pro. Worth noting, that the company started the lineup with the Vivo S15e back in the last month. Now, the company is bringing the two mainline entries of the family. The Pro variant arrives as the company’s first smartphone to run on MediaTek Dimensity 8100 platform. Vivo S15

The vanilla Vivo S15 flaunts a 6.62-inch 120 Hz AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the phone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It has up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal Storage. In terms of optics, the phone has a triple-camera setup.

The Vivo S15 camera department comes with a 64 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2 MP macro snapper. There is also a 32 MP selfie camera. The Vivo S15 Pro flaunts a smaller 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED that has a very full-screen design with a 92.7 percent of screen-to-body ratio. The panel also has a 120 Hz refresh and offers support for HDR content. Under the hood, the phone comes with a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. This processor has a slight advantage over the Snapdragon 870 with a better 5 nm manufacturing process and faster ARM Cortex-A78 cores. The phone has up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal Storage. The phone draws power from a 4,500 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging.

In terms of optics, the Vivo S15 Pro packs a triple-camera setup. The phone has a 50 MP main camera, and a 12 MP ultrawide snapper that also stands as a macro lens. Finally, there is a third 2 MP portrait lens. The phone also has a 32 MP selfie snapper. Other key features in the handset include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Origin OS Ocean with Android 12, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type C port.

The Vivo S15 has a CNY 2,699 price tag for the variant with 8 GB and 128 GB. The mid-tier model has CNY 2,999 price and brings 8 GB with 256 GB. Finally, the higher version with 12 GB and 256 GB costs CNY 3,299.

The S15 Pro has a price tag of CNY 3,399 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Storage. The higher model has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB and will set you back by CNY 3,699. Worth noting that the company has launched a couple of new earbuds in India today.
