Ye and Pusha T are seemingly on very bad terms. The Chicago producer went off on the former G.O.O.D Music president in his latest rant.
The artist formerly known as Kanye West has gotten into the live stream game recently, meaning his X rants are now audible and visible on a more consistent basis. In his latest diatribe, he targeted King Push. “Pusha T, all that tough guy sh*t. Where the tough guy sh*t?” he asked.
“I bled for you. I asked for one thing: Use for your voice, your stability. People don’t think you’re crazy. People respect you. You stood on my shoulders to take Drake out.” This, of course, was a reference to 2018 when the duo partnered up on “Infrared” from Push’s Daytona LP from that year. Drizzy fired back on “Duppy Freestyle,” and the Virginia rapper countered with the shocking “The Story Of Adidon,” which revealed that the Toronto superstar was hiding his son, Adonis.
Pusha T revealed in 2022 that he stepped away from his president role at G.O.O.D Music after Ye was in public hot water for his antisemitic rants. He had been vocal about their political differences even while they actively worked together, but that year, it reached a point where they were not communicating at all.
“He’s not speaking to me now,” Push told XXL. “If you ain’t with it, you ain’t down. And I ain’t with it. I’m not budging on that. I’m not with it. […] It’s something that just sort of tells me he’s not well, at the same time. I will say that. It’s going to places where it’s no way to move around it.”
From his end, there seemingly wasn’t any ill will. However, the Vultures artist has discussed the Clipse member on occasion over the last few years. In his recent interview with Akademiks, the multi-time Grammy winner told Push not to discuss his political views after everything he has done for his career. With this latest rant, things may be beyond repair with them.
