  • Nengi and Chika Ike, both new mothers, faced similar controversies over their pregnancies, with alleged baby daddies named and swiftly denied.
  • Since their babies’ arrival, they have kept both their children’s faces and fathers’ identities hidden, sparking outrage. Frustrated, an observer took to social media, demanding answers.

Big Brother Naija star Nengi Hampson and Nollywood actress Chika Ike are under intense scrutiny online, facing mounting pressure over their refusal to disclose the identities of their newborns’ fathers.

Chika Ike first broke the news of her daughter’s arrival on March 6, sharing heartwarming photos, though carefully keeping her baby’s face hidden.

Days later, on March 9, Nengi followed suit, unveiled her motherhood journey with baby bump photos and childbirth clips, yet also left one major detail conspicuously absent, the father’s identity.

But even before their announcements, controversy had already trailed them. Nengi forcefully dismissed claims that Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri fathered her baby. Chika Ike, on the other hand, swiftly shut down whispers that linked her pregnancy to Senator Ned Nwoko.

Now, with both women cradling their bundles of joy, the burning question about the mystery fathers still lingers.

One particularly enraged man took to social media, outrightly called them out in viral video. He found it absurd that they would hide such a crucial detail, issued a bold 24-hour ultimatum, demanding they reveal their baby daddies.

According to him, Nigerians have a right to know, not just out of curiosity but for the sake of the future, should anything unpredictable arise regarding the fathers of their children.

Many backed his stance, flooding social media with demands for answers. Voices grew louder as netizens questioned why Nengi and Chika Ike continued to keep their baby daddies a mystery.

The pressure intensified, turning the matter into a full-blown online debate.
