In other news, former rapper Modupe-Oreoluwa Oyeyemi Ola better known as Mocheddah has reminisced about her early days in the Nigerian music industry, recalling how she and Wizkid frequented studios together before their rise to stardom.

Speaking on the TeamwithTaypod podcast, Mocheddah shared fond memories of working alongside some of Nigeria’s biggest names, including Wizkid and Ice Prince.

She revealed that she started visiting music studios as young as 14 years old, often tagging along with Wizkid to recording sessions in Ojuelegba.

Reflecting on her journey, she mentioned how she watched and learned from industry veterans, including the late legendary producer OJB Jezreel.

Mocheddah also spoke about her parents’ initial concerns about her musical aspirations. However, her mother eventually became a pillar of support, escorting her to the studio while ensuring she adhered to a strict curfew. In her words:

“I became a studio rat at 14. Wizkid and I would go to studios in Ojuelegba together. We’d watch and learn from veteran musicians and producers. My mom would take me to studios and I had a curfew. Later, I became friends with Wizkid and Ice Prince, and we’d go to studios together. We didn’t record, we just watched and got inspired.”
