Comedienne and actress Wofai Fada has announced the birth of her first child, a daughter, with her husband Taiwo Cole.
Wofai Fada shared the exciting news on her official Instagram page late on Saturday night, posting pictures of herself and her newborn.
The new mother shared adorable photos of her newborn, and in another, she was captured tenderly cradling her daughter, while gazing sweetly into her eyes.
Alongside the photos, she revealed her daughter’s names are “Ifedayo, Cole, and Konaghai.” Expressing her gratitude Wofai wrote:
“We are forever grateful to God for this precious gift. ❤️ Our princess is here. My joy is complete.”
On November 13, Wofai Fada announced that she is expecting her first child, in maternity photos that saw her cradling her huge baby bump.
In May, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Wofai Fada traditionally tied the knot in Cross River with her boo, Taiwo Cole.
In October, she shared photos from her Civil wedding, noting how every love is beautiful, however, theirs is her favorite. Wofai further revealed that they have one wedding ceremony to go.
Wofai Fada’s road to becoming a Mrs was mixed with controversies. The drama unfolded after Wofai announced her engagement Taiwo Cole. She revealed that they would tie the knot this year and shared their pre-wedding photos.
Following the announcement, Wofai Fada’s in-laws issued a disclaimer to reject her marriage to their son. The statement noted that all acquaintances, family and friends are not aware of any marriage, and neither was any permission granted in this regard.
They advised the public to disregard any publications and documents being circulated about the wedding.
In a leaked audio call, Wofai’s father-in-law reportedly stated that he was blindsided by his son’s wedding as he never spoke to him about it and to make things worse, Wofai is 8 years older than his son.
Despite the disclaimer and drama, Wofai went on to tie the knot with her boo in her home state. Wofai, who was unbothered, called for love to lead, and in another post, she declared that her joy and that of her husband shall be permanent.
