Xzibit’s Ex-Wife Seeking Boost In Financial Support Due To Lifestyle

Xzibit’s ongoing legal battle with his ex-wife, Krista Joiner, has taken another turn, as she’s seeking a significant increase in both spousal and child support—claiming her lifestyle has suffered a major downgrade since their split.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Joiner filed to modify her existing spousal support agreement on Wednesday (Feb. 20), arguing that she is struggling financially and can no longer afford her “bills” or “weekend trips.” Per outlet, she alleges that Xzibit would “rather spend his money on his girlfriend’s luxury car” than pay for their 12-year-old son’s private school tuition.

Additionally, she claims the rapper hasn’t seen their son since September.

Joiner’s filing also includes serious allegations of violence, accusing Xzibit of slamming their son’s head on the table after discovering memes of the rapper’s girlfriend on the child’s phone. She is now seeking an increase in child support to just over $9,000 per month, an increase in spousal support to over $21,000 per month, $300,000 in attorney fees, and a ruling that Xzibit owes her more than $750,000 in missed payments.

Her previous court order was reportedly based on Xzibit earning around $25,000 per month, but she now believes his actual income is at least $134,000 monthly. The former couple, who were together for two decades and married for six years before their 2021 split, had two children, one of whom tragically passed away 11 days after birth.

The West Coast rapper had previously argued against paying spousal support, citing financial struggles due to the pandemic affecting his ability to tour and make public appearances. However, Joiner has alleged that Xzibit’s brother, Jason, told her that the rapper makes over $1,000,000 a month from his cannabis business. She also claims Jason said he had stashed $20,000,000 in multiple vaults for Xzibit and provided him with cash whenever he needed it.

The rapper strongly denied these accusations in a now-deleted Instagram post, calling them “bullsh*t” and warning that “there will be blood” on Krista’s hands for spreading such claims. He also accused her and his brother of stooping to a “new low.”

In August 2022, Xzibit was ordered to pay $6,000 a month in support—$2,239 for child support until their son turns 18, and $3,702 in temporary spousal support. He was also ordered to pay $50,000 after Krista hired a forensic accountant to review his finances and an additional $125,000 to cover her legal fees.

Later that year, Krista filed a lawsuit against Xzibit seeking lifetime financial compensation, alleging that he had promised to support her financially if she remained a homemaker. She argued that she upheld her end of the agreement while Xzibit has failed to do so. In 2023, she demanded another $230,000 to cover her legal fees and bills as their divorce proceedings dragged on.

A judge has yet to rule on her most recent request.
