Ye is trying to rationalize selling swastika merchandise, even in the face of massive criticism.
The artist formerly known as Kanye West took to X/Twitter this weekend for another anti-Semitic rant laced with racist rhetoric echoing hateful language he has used over the past seven years.
“TWITTER RAMPAGE WAS 90% JEW PROOF” he said in now-deleted posts, per Baller Alert. “WELL 2 YEARS AGO I TWEETED DEATHCON 3 ON THE JEWS IM SURE NO ONE REMEMBERS THAT…AND A FEW SPECIFIC JEWS NOT THE ENTIRE RACE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD BUT A FEW SPECIFIC JEWS CAME TOGETHER AND DID EVERYTHING THEY COULD TO DESTROY ME NOT PLAYING VICTIM JUST REFRESHING EVERYONES MEMORY. THIS TIME I PUSHED EVERY CANCELABLE IDEA POSSIBLE I PUSHED EVEY [sic] BOTTON I COULD…IVE HAD MY SWASTIKA T SHIRT IDEA FOR OVER 8 YEARS IT WAS SO INTRIGUING TO ME THAT A SYMBOL HAD SO MUCH PROGRAMING IN IT.”
He went on, “I REMEMBER GOING TO JAPAN AND GASPING WHEN I SAW WHAT IS KNOWN AS THE SWASTIKA ON CLOTHING IT FELT ILLEGAL TO EVEN LOOK AT IT THATS HOW I HAD BEEN PROGRAMMED I THEN FOUND OUT THAT SWASTIKA HAD MANY DIFFERENT MEANINGS AND MANY DIFFERENT NAMES.”

The controversial entertainer then moved on to explain how his explosive rant from over Super Bowl weekend led to some of his employees quitting while declaring that he is not “under Jewish control.”
“THE IDEA OF BEING JEW PROOF IS, I SAID ALL THESE POLITICALLY INCORRECT THINGS AND NOBODY WAS ABLE TO STOP ME EXTORT ME THREATEN ME TO CHANGE ANYTHING AND I MADE 40 MILLION THE NEXT DAY BETWEEN MY DIFFERENT BUSINESS.
“THERE’S A LOT OF JEWISH PEOPLE I KNOW AND LOVE AND STILL WORK WITH. THE POINT I MADE AND SHOWED IS THAT I AM NOT UNDER JEWISH CONTROL ANYMORE IN WAR YOU TAKE A COUPLE LOSES [sic] I LOST ONE OF MY FAVORITE YEEZY DESIGNERS NAMED SIMON HE TAILORED THE GRAMMY DRESS…THIS WAS A MAJOR LOSS WE LOST MALCOM WHO WAS OUR LEAD STYLIST AND SHOPPER WHO ALSO FOUND SIMON MAYBE ONE DAY THEY WILL UNDERSTAND WHY I HAD TO DO WHAT I DID AND ONE DAY THEY WILL FORGIVE MY METHOD.”
West’s unhinged rant concluded as the artist focused on what happened with Shopify after the e-commerce platform terminated his account. The Donda rapper unloaded on the company for doing some “pu**y sh*t,” and called for people to understand “the truth” about the Canadian e-commerce site.
“YEEZY WAS ALSO DROPPED BY SHOPIFY THIS WAS A MAJOR VICTORY BECAUSE I HATE SHOPIFY AND I ALWAYS HAVE I NEW THEY WOULD DO SOME PU**Y SH*T LIKE THIS…ANYONE WHO’S ON SHOPIFY JUST KNOW THEY CONTROL YOUR MARKET AND THEY HAVE ALL OF YOUR DATA WHICH RAISES THE VALUE OF SHOPIFY WHILE EXCLUDING THE BRANDS FROM THAT UPSIDE HARLEY FINKELSTEIN PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I BASICALLY HAVE THAT RIGHT I KNOW I DIDN’T [GRADUATE].”
Many initially thought that the platform was taking a stance against hate, banning Kanye for his swastika-detailed apparel. However, it was revealed by The Logic that the company took down Ye’s account due to the “potential for fraud,” not anti-Semitism. Shopify asserted that Ye’s actions “did not engage in authentic commerce practices” and was a “stunt” created in “not a good faith attempt to make money.”
