Young Buck Heads To Jail On Bond Violation, 50 Cent Cracks Jokes

Young Buck is heading back behind bars after a Tennessee judge revoked his bond due to ongoing noncompliance.

The former G-Unit rapper, born David Brown, appeared in court on Monday (April 7) for a bond hearing and was ordered to serve 30 days in jail for what authorities described as “repeated violations of his bond supervision.”

According to Sumner County assistant district attorney general Eric Mauldin, Buck repeatedly failed to attend mandatory check-ins with his bond supervisor—appointments he was required to attend twice monthly as a condition of his release.

Buck’s troubles stem from a previous arrest in which he was released on a $60,000 bond. That arrest included multiple charges: domestic assault, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and vandalism exceeding $10,000. Since then, the rapper has struggled to remain in compliance with the terms set by the court.

Local outlet WKRN reports that Buck will be eligible for a new bond following the completion of his 30-day sentence. The presiding judge reportedly hopes that this brief stint in jail will “get his attention this time” and encourage full cooperation moving forward.

Buck’s former label boss turned foe, 50 Cent, shared a news report covering the Nashville native’s legal woes on social media, taking the opportunity to poke fun at his old groupmate’s head shape.

“Damn how dat head get like that,” Fif captioned the post. “Police must’ve hit him in the head,” he added, indicating the humor he found in Buck’s mugshot photo.
