Charleston White is known for being a sometimes funny, often cringeworthy, and very controversial comedian, but people witnessed another one of his “talents” this past weekend. The 48-year-old personality walked away from a boxing match victorious after Island Boys’ Kodiyakredd quit mid-fight.
The two participated in a combat event hosted by streamer Adin Ross and Brand Risk Promotions in Nashville on Sunday (June 22). They were the main event bout, following other personalities who jousted, such as Scam Likely, Supah Hot Fire, Julian Newman, and Gio Wise. White came in with a controversial history at Ross’ boxing events, one of which he had to be removed from the venue after a first-round loss to streamer Oblivion.
This time around, he seemed to have something to prove, given that he came in with an 0-3 record. He also had strong backing, in the form of boxing coach Milton Lacroix, who had been known to have trained Logan Paul. He approached this fight methodically, and by the second round, one bad punch had Kodiyak throwing in the towel. Check out a clip of the finishing blow below, as well as footage of the entire fight.
White seemed to also be motivated by an altercation that took place between his wife, Tamara White, and Kodiyakredd’s girlfriend. “His girl spit on my girl,” he exclaimed to Ross. “That’s assault. So we going to ask [the] police department to file a criminal charge against Island Boy girlfriend. Then I’m going to get him civilly.”
Ross has previously offered his attorney to other celebrities, and followed suit here if White was serious about pursuing litigation. “Lawyer Goldstein, he’s gonna make sure he’s good, I’ll pay your lawyer fees,” he said. White was intrigued by the suggestion for one specific reason: “Sound like a jew to me, so let’s hire ’em.”
