Diddy Believes Feds Are Spying On Him In Jail

Diddy being arrested in September felt like vindication for many people, but he and his legal team have sought every route to get him from behind bars, and found a victory in all the madness. Now, he’s accusing the feds of spying on him while he is in jail, hindering his ability to have a fair trial.

TMZ obtained court documents outlining their claim, citing that the feds are imposing upon his constitutional rights. Specifically, his legal team believes the feds invaded what should be confidential communications between him and his lawyers, leading to their raiding his cell at MDC Brooklyn.

They believe the government and Federal Bureau Of Prisons (BOP) have been working in conjunction, even monitoring his handwritten notes to his legal counsel, and using what they have obtained to reduce his chances of getting out on bail. They even claim that someone on staff took a picture of his notes, sent it to the prosecution, and had his cell raided under the false belief of there being a “security concern.”

Diddy’s legal team attempted to poke a hole in the prosecution’s explanation of how they got his notes, claiming that they were held in a locker and not his bunk. This was a strategic follow-up to a recent ruling in the Bad Boy founder’s favor; a judge ordered the prosecution to discard copies of his notes to his legal team, as they had not yet held a hearing to decide whether or not the notes could be used in his forthcoming trial.

Puff has tried and failed to secure bail on three separate occasions since being arrested in September for racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and more. It has now been a year since Cassie first filed her lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend, accusing him of rape, sexual assault, trafficking and more. The former couple settled outside of court, but several other women came forward with their own lawsuits along the same vein.

From there, producer Lil Rod filed his own assault lawsuit, the controversial mogul’s homes were raided by Homeland Security, and footage surfaced of him assaulting Cassie in 2016 in a hotel. Recently, Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee committed to representing an alleged 120 other victims of Diddy’s misconduct and started a hotline for other victims to tell their stories.
