Nigerian actress Jemima Osunde has voiced her frustration over what she feels is an improper use of social media among netizens lately.
Her reaction was triggered by a video of a woman recording herself while defecating, a scenario Osunde felt was both unsettling and unnecessary.
The actress expressed her displeasure on X handle, calling for a return to the more restrained online culture of 2018.
“Please, please, and please! Legs go back to social media of 2018!” she exclaimed, emphasizing her exhaustion with the current state of ‘oversharing’.
Critiquing the video, Osunde lamented, “The oversharing online is killing me. Look at that nasty video now. Why we gotta watch you poop? And like bloody Spider-Man too.”
She also expressed irritation at having the video appear on her timeline, stating, “Hate whoever brought that shit to my timeline. You people have lost the entire plot in the name of posting content. Is she mad???? Omg.”
