Tiwa Savage emphasized that surviving in Nigeria is a significant accomplishment, and this resilience is reflected in the determination and talent of Nigerian artists.

She said:

When you come to Nigeria, you will understand why we breed so many superstars. To survive in Nigeria is something else so that’s why the artists that come out of Nigeria are just like hustlers. They are just hustling.”

She disclosed this in a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos. Tiwa Savage said:

“I once got a Range Rover for my birthday but I returned it cos I wasn’t feeling the guy. I also didn’t want to keep it because he might decide to retrieve the car if I kept snubbing his calls.”
