Kodak Black and Boosie were able to hit the White House for the Trump Administration’s Black History event. During the BLM event celebration on Thursday (Feb. 20), the official White House account uploaded new pictures featuring the South Florida rapper, with a caption reading, “Kodak Black in the People’s House.” Shots show the “Super Gremlin” rapper cheesing in one photo and then looking out of a window from the Oval Office in another snap.

Boosie posted several pictures of himself posing with criminal justice advocate Alice Marie Johnson, Deputy Assistant to the President Lynne Patton, and Angela Stanton. “Good Working,” the Louisiana rapper captioned his photo. And while Kodak has often pledged his allegiance to Donald Trump in the past with a multitude of gestures celebrating him, Badazz has made his intentions clear about his reason for cozying up to Trump: a pardon.

Dwight DeLoach, an Atlanta-based attorney, attended the Black History gatherings with the “No Juice” rapper to make his past pleas for freedom a reality. DeLoach uploaded a picture of himself at the commemoration with a caption that examined the bigger picture, typing, “Taking the fight for justice to the highest level! Attorney DeLoach met with Pardon Czar @alicemariefree and Deputy Assistant to the President @lynnepatton at the White House to advocate for a pardon for Boosie Badazz. #PardonBoosie #JusticeMatters #AttorneyDeLoach.”

Other prominent Black figures at the event included Herschel Walker, Martin Luther King’s niece Alveda King, Rod Wave, Tiger Woods, Terrence K. Williams, and Sage Steele. The former ESPN talking head issued a post of her own, recalling the “jubilant” crowd within the White House as Trump sought to “unite” the country.

“Another unforgettable day!! Black History Month celebration @ The White House. It was AWESOME to finally meet so many wonderful people in person instead of just online — people whose courage is contagious, which is making a huge difference in their communities, and in America as a whole. Thank you @realdonaldtrump for continuing to unite!!”
