Kodak Black has sparked widespread concern among fans after displaying signs of emotional distress during a recent social media livestream, where he shared candid feelings of abandonment and emotional pain.
The Florida rapper, known for both his chart-topping hits and a string of legal and personal controversies, appeared to have an emotional breakdown while interacting with fans on Wednesday (May 7).
During the livestream, one viewer asked about his relationship with Maranda Johnson — the mother of two of his children. Kodak’s response revealed deep emotional wounds.

“I never experienced love before,” he told his viewers, his voice breaking as he mockingly cried. “I never did.”
The rapper then climbed into bed, appearing visibly distraught as he continued streaming. Viewers flooded the comments with words of encouragement and concern, expressing sympathy for his state of mind and urging him to take care of his mental health.
This emotional episode comes just weeks after serious accusations were made by Johnson, who accused Kodak of being a “deadbeat daddy” and alleged both physical and emotional abuse. The rapper, however, has denied these claims through his attorney, Bradford Cohen.

Cohen issued a strong rebuttal on behalf of Kodak, accusing Johnson of launching a smear campaign.
“We have evidence of Kodak not only paying and giving money for his children, but also buying gifts,” Cohen stated. He further accused Johnson of intentionally damaging Kodak’s property and misrepresenting events for personal gain.
“The [allegations are] pure fiction from a very selfish young lady,” Cohen said in a social media post. “I didn’t want to comment on this young lady committing defamation which we will sue her for, but also for the over 150k worth of damage she did to 7 cars and smashing a window of the house that had his kids inside.”

He went on to describe another disturbing incident allegedly involving Johnson. “She fought another mother of Kodak’s young child, hurt the child and the mother at a b-day party that Kodak paid thousands of dollars for his daughter,” Cohen claimed.
As Kodak’s personal troubles continue to unfold publicly, his latest livestream has cast a spotlight on the emotional toll these battles may be taking on him. Or that he simply loves trolling his fans and using the innerworkings of his life to generate public fodder.
