Snoop Dogg is ringing in 2025 with style. The iconic rapper, entertainer, and entrepreneur has been tapped to host a high-energy music variety special for NBC this New Year’s Eve, continuing his growing partnership with NBCUniversal.
According to Variety, the show will air live on Dec. 31 from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. ET, promising two hours of entertainment, music, and unmistakable Snoop flair, broadcast straight from Miami.
The special marks another major move for Snoop, whose relationship with NBCUniversal has expanded in recent years to include high-profile appearances on The Voice and coverage for last year’s Summer Olympic Games.

The show will be produced by Den of Thieves — known for their work on the MTV VMAs and People’s Choice Awards — alongside Snoop’s own Death Row Pictures.
