Summer Walker calls on the women of P-Valley for her latest music video. The R&B singer features Brandee Evans, Gail Bean, and Miracle Watts in her glamorous visual for “Spend It.” Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, and actor Eric Roberts also make appearances in the Lesly Lynch-directed clip.
The music video finds the Grammy-nominated musician on a mission to crack a high-security safe filled with money and antiques. In the end, the safe only contains a Joker card, with Summer Walker sending a message to fans and a surprise cameo from Joanne the Scammer.
As described in a press statement, “Spend It” introduces fans to a new era of Summer—an era inspired by over-the-top glamour and hyper-femininity.
“Spend it on me, l love when you to spend it on me/ Throw it to me, take me up in Givenchy/ Before my love couldn’t be bought/ But now that’s all I want,” sings the 29-year-old. “Drip me in diamonds, that’s how you make it right/ Drape me in silk and we would never fight, no, no.”

“Spend It” follows “Heart Of A Woman,” released by Summer Walker last winter. Both singles precede the Atlanta native’s anticipated third studio album, Finally Over It.
The easter egg dropped by Joanne The Scammer takes fans to whereisthealbum.com, where the “Girls Need Love” performer addresses the wait for new music. The website features a timer counting the days, hours, minutes, and seconds that have passed since Walker’s last album, Still Over It, was released in 2021.
“I just feel like I don’t really have the answer, like we all want to hear Rihanna’s album, but she’s not gonna tell us. She’s not sitting here giving us PSA f**king videos every five seconds,” exclaimed Summer Walker. “I’ve been waiting on P-Valley for eternity. They’re not giving me updates. I don’t get updates about a lot of things. I’ve been wondering when white supremacy is gonna stop. No one’s gonna ever give me that answer. So I just feel like they gotta deal with the same way I have to deal with it.”

She continued, “You’ve gotta let me cook. It’s actually almost done. With time, it just keeps getting better. She detailed how she had previously turned in an album that her team did think was up to standard.
“I’m not gonna cap, I think it was gonna get this good. And now is that some sh*t where I’m like, ‘Wow, I love this.’ Every day we add some new sh*t. Now we’re down to the details.”
