SZA To Drop “Not Beauty” Makeup Line During Grand National Tour

SZA is making her mark in the cosmetics world with the launch of her new makeup brand, Not Beauty, which comes just in time for the highly anticipated Grand National tour with Kendrick Lamar.

According to SZA’s announcement on Wednesday (April 16), for now, products will only include three lip gloss shades that she has been teasing for months with her signature “lip combo.” She announced on Instagram, “YALL ASKED FOR THE LIP COMBO AND ITS FINALLY HERE!!! I REPEAT THE LIP PRODUCTS IVE BEEN WEARING AND WORKING ON FOR YEARS ARE FINALLY HERE FOR EVERYONE TO TRY!!!”

But here’s the catch: once the North American leg wraps up (April 19–June 18), the products may disappear, as they will only be available at those tour stops during that time.

“I’m not a beauty maven, but I know lips,” she confessed to Vogue about the launch. And if you know, it’s been obvious that SZA’s lips speak volumes, making the lip glosses an easier sell. But for her, it’s more than just about launching a product — but delivering quality, creating trust, and using the same passion that’s driven her career. “I wanted to fill a need with something that works for me and that I use daily,” she explained.

She further explained where the name for the line came from. SZA shared that “Not Beauty” is as straightforward as it sounds: “It was representative of a reminder of: Don’t try to be these other brands, don’t try to be anything. Don’t just make a random celebrity brand just because you can. My whole life is about being pressure-free but still trying your best.”

For those lucky enough to catch her on the road, they’ll get first dibs on the gloss she’s been wearing and perfecting for years. But for now, fans can visit NotBeauty.com for more info and check out the North American dates for the Grand National tour with Kendrick Lamar below.
