Tyrese Gibson made things crystal clear regarding his religious beliefs, sexual orientation and rumored illuminati affiliation in a passionate rant on Monday (Nov. 25).
In true Tyrese fashion, the actor and singer didn’t mince his words after being accused of being a part of a devil-worshipping cult and hiding his sexuality.
“I’m not gay, ain’t never been gay. I’m not a part of a secret gay, or a public gay,” he declared in an Instagram video. The Fast & Furious star then turned his attention to cult rumors, adding, “What y’all not gonna do is, y’all not gone put no devil on me. Listen to me, the Lord Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. You understand that? Ain’t no devil worshiping over here, ain’t no gay, ain’t no down low, ain’t no secret society, ain’t no Illuminati.”
The “Signs of Love Making” crooner shared how he keeps his faith at the forefront: “I cast demonic spirits away from me every day. I walk strongly with my beliefs.”
Tyrese also addressed outlandish claims that he’s “sacrificed” loved ones to gain fame and fortune in the Illuminati. “Sacrificing who?” he asked, visibly baffled. “If I’m sacrificing my friends… why my bank account ain’t changed? Where’s the private plane? Where’s the lifestyle? Goofy muthaf**kas.”
Addressing a viral clip of him wearing a religious garb during his trip to Abu Dhabi, he set the record straight: “That ain’t no dress. It’s called a kandura. That’s what you wear in the Middle East. It’s not a dress. There is no sacrifice. There is no ritual.”
In the caption of his rant, Tyrese called out the industry for what he considers to be a trend of glorifying darkness. “Devils and devil worshipers ain’t gonna like this video – they appear to be WINNING lol,” he wrote while also shouting out Denzel Washington. “Me and Denzel Washington are out here SPREADING the GOODNESS OF JESUS!!!” he asserted.
“If you guys are into and doing what makes you happy??? Can I please just have a moment to share what I’m on???????,” he continued. “Can I share with you a little secret?????? Can I?? How much do you wanna bet that this video and its VIEWS will be COMPROMISED?????”
He then encouraged his fans to “SHARE, REPOST, RETWEET, TIK TOK THIS…. Before it’s deleted UPLOAD and SPREAD THE GOODNESS!!!!”
