Young Thug To Revisit Atlanta Sooner Than 2034, If He Does This

Just weeks after making headlines with his surprise guilty plea, Young Thug‘s attorneys have successfully petitioned for a modification to the conditions of his sentence.

According to Fox 5 Atlanta, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Paige Reese Whitaker sentenced him to 15 years of probation and a strict 10-year ban from the Atlanta area. However, his legal team argued that the ban unfairly restricted him from visiting his Atlanta home, citing the need for family gatherings and business endeavors.

Well, on Wednesday (Dec. 11), Judge Whitaker approved the motion allowing the rapper limited visits to his Atlanta residence starting Oct. 31, 2027, provided he complies with all probation terms for the first three years of his sentence. His visits are capped at two weeks, up to four times a year, and require at least five days’ notice to probation officers.

To ensure privacy and safety, the court ruled that his address would remain confidential unless another court order dictates otherwise. The move comes with a statement by Thug’s father, Jeffery Williams Sr. “No regrets, know what I’m saying,” he told reporters. “He did what he felt like he wanted to do. He’s grown; he made his own decision.”

On Halloween night (Oct. 31), Thugga né Jeffery Williams pleaded guilty to charges involving guns, drugs, and street gang activity. In court, the rapper took accountability, stating, “I take full responsibility for my crimes.”

Although it may be a small win for Young Thug, the granted motion shows there’s hope for the 33-year-old to get his normal life back in some way.
